Xavier Rudd is considered one of the biggest names in the Australian music industry, with a career spanning over two decades. With hits like “Follow the Sun,” “Spirit Bird,” and “Stoney Creek,” he has built a loyal global fanbase.
His breakthrough album To Let (2002) showcased his extraordinary talent as a multi-instrumentalist. Over the years, his dynamic live performances have evolved from full-band setups to his internationally acclaimed one-man band format.
The latest tour follows the success of his tenth studio album, Jan Jun Moon, which received critical acclaim and earned him an APRA Award for Most Performed Blues and Roots Work. This is his most ambitious tour to date, as he effortlessly plays multiple instruments, incorporates live looping, and creates stunning sound effects. For his 2025 tour, he will be joined on stage by the talented multi-instrumentalist Lisa Purmodh, further enhancing the live experience.
Xavier has performed at major festivals in Australia and worldwide, including Glastonbury (UK), Pinkpop (Netherlands), Rock Werchter (Belgium), Esperanzah (France), and the Byron Bay Blues Festival (Australia). In addition to being a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, he is also an activist, known for songs with socially conscious themes. Spirituality, nature, compassion, and climate issues are topics close to his heart.
