Three Days Grace
Over the past five years, Three Days Grace has undergone an incredible period. In May 2022, they released their seventh studio album, Explosions, featuring singles like "So Called Life" and "Lifetime." In October 2024, founder and former lead vocalist Adam Gontier officially rejoined the band after more than ten years away. He now shares vocal duties with Matt Walst, who has been the band's frontman since 2013. This unique combination of two lead singers has given the band a new musical dimension. In November 2024, they released "Mayday," their first single with the revamped lineup. In 2025, they will be touring with Disturbed and Sevendust, and are also scheduled for major festivals such as Rock Fest and Louder Than Life.
Three Days Grace was originally formed in 1992 in Norwood, Ontario, under the name Groundswell. After a brief disbandment in 1995, singer/guitarist Adam Gontier, drummer Neil Sanderson, and bassist Brad Walst reformed the band in 1997 as Three Days Grace. Their 2003 debut album spawned hits like "I Hate Everything About You." With subsequent albums like One-X (2006) and Life Starts Now (2009), their popularity grew worldwide. In 2013, Gontier left the band due to personal health issues, and Matt Walst, Brad's brother, replaced him. Under his leadership, the band released albums such as Human (2015) and Outsider (2018). Gontier's return in 2024 marks a new chapter in the history of this Canadian rock band.
