The Rose
The well-known alternative pop band The Rose has announced their upcoming tour, ‘Once Upon A WRLD 2025’. The tour will include shows across Europe, North America, and Latin America. It follows the announcement of their new album WRLD, which will be released on May 30. The tour kicks off on June 9 in Zurich and concludes on August 30 in Seoul.
The recently announced EP WRLD is set to be released on May 30 and will feature seven tracks. The music blends elements from The Rose’s earlier work with new sounds and influences from various genres. With this EP, The Rose returns to the core of their style: honest, personal, and emotional. The songs carry a message of hope and serve as an invitation to reflect on what connects us as human beings. They remind us that there is room for dreams and love, and that the future can be brighter than the present.
By combining different musical styles, WRLD offers an intimate listening experience—perfect for moments of reflection, inspiration, and embracing change.
About The Rose:
The Rose is a South Korean alt-pop indie band consisting of four members: vocalist and guitarist Woosung, vocalist Dojoon, bassist Jaehyeong, and drummer Hajoon. Since the band’s formation, they have been known for their energetic performances and quickly rose to become one of the most sought-after groups in Korea. They released critically acclaimed albums that resonated with a global fanbase.
In 2019, three members temporarily went on hiatus to fulfill their mandatory military service. During this break, Woosung launched a successful solo career, releasing captivating albums and performing to sold-out audiences on world tours.
Much to the joy of their devoted fans, The Rose reunited during one of Woosung’s performances in South Korea in 2022. This reunion led to the release of their first album as a group, titled HEAL. The album quickly climbed to No. 4 on Billboard’s Heatseekers Chart, and their accompanying HEAL Together World Tour attracted more than 90,000 attendees.
In September 2023, The Rose released their highly anticipated album DUAL. Building on the emotional sincerity and vulnerability of HEAL, the new album explores the profound theme of balance. Light and dark elements are seamlessly intertwined, with The Rose masterfully blending emotion and sound to capture the dualistic essence that defines their music.
