The Hives
On Saturday, November 22, The Hives will perform at AFAS Live during their World Tour. Tickets will be available from Friday, April 11 at 10:00 AM via mojo.nl/thehives.
The Hives will release their new album The Hives Forever Forever The Hives on August 29, 2025, and will stop by AFAS Live on Saturday, November 22 as part of their world tour. The band has the following to say about their new album:
"To whom it may concern,
And that is everyone.
This message is to inform you that international rock sensation The Hives, the best live band in the world and still your new favorite band, praised on all continents for their masterful skills and reckless abandon in the rock music field, have, once again, earlier than expected, created a new body of work that has never been heard before and likely never will be heard again.
A new record so full of energy, joy, anger, and life that you will question reality as you know it.
They've finally done it. Every track a single, every single a hit, every hit a straight punch in the face of the man.
This, their seventh opus, The Hives Forever Forever The Hives, is set to be released on the 29th day of August in the year 2025, by the esteemed Play It Again Sam.
This album consists of thirteen musical pieces crafted with dedication, passion, and craftsmanship in Sweden, in collaboration with esteemed producers Pelle Gunnerfeldt and Mike D of the Beastie Boys."
About The Hives
The Hives, consisting of Howlin' Pelle, Chris Dangerous, The Johan And Only, Nicholaus Arson, and Vigilante Carlstroem, have written their name in the annals of rock history over the past thirty years. Their achievements have led them to sell out large stadiums and share the stage with monumental acts such as AC/DC and The Rolling Stones. The BBC called them “a force of nature,” and Rolling Stone named their album Veni Vidi Vicious one of the Top 100 Albums of the Decade. Furthermore, their anthem, Hate To Say I Told You So, earned a very honorable spot in Pitchfork's Top 500 Songs of the 2000s. With millions of albums sold and recognition through Platinum certifications and numerous awards – including Grammys, MTV Awards, and NME Awards – they are known as titans in the realm of music. According to the legendary Joe Strummer, it was The Hives who saved rock 'n' roll.
