Barbara Pravi
The singer began her musical career in 2014, but Barbara Pravi rose to fame with the wider public through her participation in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2021, where she represented France with the song Voilà. She achieved second place, and her performance was widely praised for its emotional depth and classic chanson style. In August 2021, Pravi released her debut album On n’enferme pas les oiseaux. Her music is often compared to that of iconic French artists like Édith Piaf and Jacques Brel, thanks to her poetic lyrics and expressive performances — but with a fresh, modern, and authentic twist.
The Netherlands has also taken Barbara Pravi into its heart. Recently, with her second album La Pieva in hand, she completed a fully sold-out tour across Dutch theaters and concert halls. To celebrate, she will return next year for a grand and spectacular encore at AFAS Live.
