Our History
Since 1992, at the height of the HIV epidemic, we have been dedicated to creating a world without AIDS. The Amsterdam Dinner Foundation serves as a bridge between businesses, high-net-worth individuals, and organizations committed to fighting HIV and AIDS worldwide. It all began on Amsterdam’s Dam Square. Over the years, the Amsterdam Dinner has grown into one of the most respected charity dinners in the Netherlands.

A World Without AIDS
Forty years after the start of the AIDS pandemic, millions of people around the world still lack access to life-saving medication and healthcare. In 2020, nearly 700,000 people globally died from AIDS-related illnesses. Over the past 30 years, the Amsterdam Dinner Foundation and its community have supported numerous projects in the fight against AIDS and the stigma surrounding it. But there is still much work to be done!

Even in our own country, where the situation is fortunately very different, it remains essential to combat discrimination and stigma.
We are working toward a world where everyone can be themselves, and we firmly believe that a world without AIDS is possible!
