After a triumphant 47-date tour across the US last summer, selling 500,000 tickets, Grammy Award-winning rockers Cage The Elephant today announce their return to the UK and Europe in February 2025 for the 'Neon Pill Tour', with a stop at AFAS Live on Sunday, February 23. These will be the band's first shows in Europe since 2019.
Earlier this year, the GRAMMY Award-winning, multi-platinum band released their 6th studio album, Neon Pill, via Columbia Records. Neon Pill sees the six-piece band—brothers Matthew Shultz (vocals) and Brad Shultz (guitar), Daniel Tichenor (bass), Jared Champion (drums), Nick Bockrath (lead guitar), and Matthan Minster (guitar, keys, backing vocals)—venture into new musical territory while maintaining their uncompromising creativity and highly cathartic live shows.
The band recently surpassed one billion streams for their single Cigarette Daydreams and celebrated their twelfth #1 spot on Billboard's Alternative Airplay Chart for Rainbow, which they recently performed live on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
Recently, the band also announced that they would be joining Oasis for their highly anticipated North American tour in 2025. In an interview about the announcement, Matt Shultz, frontman of Cage The Elephant, shared, "It’s an absolute honor to be asked to support such a legendary band like Oasis, and also one of my personal favorites of all time. I’m definitely going to watch their set every night on tour. A true blessing, I couldn’t be happier."
Support for the Neon Pill Tour will come from Sunflower Bean and Girl Tones.
